Janelle Weaver’s journey into the world of healing plants and sensory craftsmanship spans more than three decades, grounded in a dual devotion to culinary artistry and herbal medicine. Long before founding Vault of Venus 111, Janelle spent over thirty years as a professional chef, mastering the delicate balance of flavor, aroma, and the transformative power of raw ingredients. To her, the kitchen and the apothecary have always shared the same spirit—places where patience, reverence for nature, and precise technique combine to create something truly extraordinary.

Alongside her culinary career, Janelle immersed herself in the study of herbalism, wild foraging, and aromatherapy. Guided by a deep respect for ancient plant remedies and the psychological power of scent, she began formulating bespoke ointments, balms, and skin preparations for herself, her husband, and close friends.

Her path took a pivotal turn through her long-standing friendship with a registered nurse and practicing herbalist. When her friend sought to expand her horizons after nearly two decades of crafting highly sought-after, time-honored remedies, she passed the stewardship of these foundational recipes into Janelle’s hands. Recognizing a shared alchemical vision, the two continue to collaborate and refine their craft.
